I'm on warfarin for a heart condition, and I wanna try some herbal supplements. Is it safe?

Oh man, be super careful with that. My uncle was on warfarin and started taking a herbal tea without telling his doctor. His blood levels went haywire. It took a while to even things out again, and it was more stressful than you’d think. He was annoyed since he thought herbal meant natural and safe. Lesson learned: always talk to your doc before trying anything new!
